Services

Supervised Contact

Supervised Contact

Supervised Contact is provided where it is assessed that there might be a higher risk or greater complexity in a family’s circumstance. These sessions will be supervised and observed by staff and reports will be written. Staff will remain within sight and sound of children at all times.

Supported Contact

Supported Contact

Supported Contact allows children of separated parents to enjoy contact with their non-resident parents. Our staff will be present to give support but do not observe/take notes. This contact takes place if trust has broken down or communication is difficult, and the level of risk is low.

Handover

Handover

This enables the child to move from one parent to the other in the supportive environment of our Centre, without actually needing to use the Contact Centre to spend time with the child. This service is used when parents are not willing / able to meet. We will help make a smooth handover for all.

Indirect Contact

Indirect Contact

Indirect contact takes place where direct contact is unsafe, unworkable or not in the child’s best interests. Activities include sending letters, cards or gifts. We are able to support this process/give our advice.

Virtual Contact

Virtual Contact

We facilitate both supervised and supported virtual contact sessions for children and their families. These are carried out via Skype, Zoom, Teams or other video messaging softwares.

Community Contact

Community Contact

Community Contact takes place in locations like restaurants, shopping centres, cinemas or soft play centres. Our Centre can arrange this and escort the child and parent.

Life Story

Life Story

Life Story is to help children who have experienced trauma understand the things that have happened in their lives. We support children to develop a sense of identity and aim to reduce emotional distress.

Room Hire

Room Hire

Our Contact Centre room is available for private hire upon request. This allows families to spend quality time together. Children and parents will have sole access to the room. Please get in touch for more info.
