The NACCC recently hosted it’s Inaugural Awards for Outstanding Achievements. Watch the video below!
They explained, that to celebrate the work that Child Contact Centres are doing, they would be offering four awards to centres, and that anyone from parents to professionals could nominate a person or a centre that they feel went above and beyond.

Kerri, at First Steps Surrey Child Contact Centre was honoured to be the WINNER of Charlie’s award for staff service!
Charlie’s Award for Staff Service is described by the NACCC as an award for someone ‘who has made an outstanding contribution to the services being offered by an organisation. They may have overcome a specific challenge or adversity, they may have achieved something unexpected, or it might be that one person who always goes beyond the call of duty to support children and their families’.
It goes without saying that Kerri was absolutely over the moon to receive Charlie’s Award, and she has said…
‘it was so heart warming to see such lovely feedback from some of the families that I’ve spent time with at the centre, and it feels fantastic to have been able to help them in any way I can’.
During the awards ceremony, it was lovely to see other centre’s being recognised for the amazing work they do.
